“Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order,” is the upcoming new video game based on the popular franchise. This time the IP is in the hands of Electronic Arts and most importantly the “Titanfall” and “Apex Legends” developer Respawn Entertainment who are using the Unreal 4 engine.
This will be a massive departure from the multiplayer Star Wars games like ‘Battlefront’ and is confirmed to be a single player story focused epic adventure story with no multiplayer and even more important no micro-transactions. This is a welcome move in a marketplace that is saturated with loot boxes and the like so the fans are very happy that companies are getting back to focusing on great story telling.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be the journey of a young man who was a Padawan that survived the Order 66 that was given at the end of the movie “Revenge of the Sith”. He is forced to go on the run after he exposes his Force powers. From the looks of the trailer there will be some familiar faces from various Star Wars sources including the Rebels animated series.
Cameron Monaghan (“Gotham” and “Shameless”) takes on the starring role of your character Cal Kestis which will use his voice along with his likeness through motion capture.
Expect the game to hit stores around November 15th.
