The Apocalypse may not be cancelled, but it is delayed as PS4-exclusive action-adventure zombie title “Days Gone” is getting moved once again, this time pushed back to release on April 26th 2019.
The game is said to be inspired by titles like “The Last of Us” and “Red Dead Redemption” and is set in a post-apocalyptic open-world two years after a global pandemic turns much of humanity into ‘Freakers.’ Yep, let’s just change the name of Zombies to Freakers and people will think it’s something new. The game looks amazing, but why can’t we just call a potato a potato.
The action focuses on a character played by actor Sam Witwer called Deacon St. John. Sam is no stranger to video game acting having featured in many games including the outstanding Star War’s Force Unleashed titles.
The delay is more likely about timing than changing the game itseld as the new date will move it away from another AAA titles, namely the big three, “Anthem,” “Metro Exodus,” and “Crackdown 3”.
