Gearbox Software has officially unveiled C4SH, an exciting new Vault Hunter character making his debut in the first Borderlands 4 Story Pack, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned. This highly anticipated DLC is set to launch in Q1 2026, bringing fresh content and challenges to the world of Borderlands 4.
Who is C4SH?
C4SH is a former casino dealer bot turned drifter, uniquely driven by the thrill of discovering cursed, eldritch artefacts. His quest for items that defy logic and probability makes him a perfect fit for Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, a story pack brimming with cosmic horrors and mysterious relics. Some of these strange finds could even turn the odds in his favour!
C4SH’s Playstyle: High-Risk, High-Reward
Like other Borderlands 4 Vault Hunters, C4SH comes equipped with three distinct Action Skills. His abilities are designed around taking chances, introducing elements of luck and risk into gameplay. While full details on his skills are coming soon, expect a high-risk, high-reward style that can significantly buff himself and allies, deal massive damage to enemies, or drain their strength. This new character promises a unique combat experience for Borderlands fans.
How to Get C4SH and the New Story Pack:
You can add C4SH to your Borderlands 4 roster as soon as he’s available through:
Owning the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition.
Owning the Vault Hunter Pack (included with the Super Deluxe Edition).
Purchasing Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned (also included in the Vault Hunter Pack, or available separately*).
