Here we go again, EA has confirmed via Twitter that the upcoming “Battlefield 2042” has been delayed several weeks taking it from October 22nd to November 19th.
The message came from DICE Studio GM Oskar Gabrielson who detailed exactly why the team decided to push back the game:
Time to deliver a vision seems to be the new buzz phrase with developers and can sometimes be put down to the limited amount of time they were allowed to spend with the NexGen consoles before they were rolled out.
DICE have promised further updates later in the month regarding the games beta. It’s expected that the multiplayer-only launch of the title will see seven maps for up to 128 players which will be a groundbreaking effort if they can pull it off.
