Telltale Games have carved out a nice little brand in adventure episodic games with titles like “The Walking Dead,” “Game of Thrones,” “Jurassic Park,” “Batman,” and “Guardians of the Galaxy”. franchises.
Now it looks like they are set to take on the surprise Netflix hit series “Stranger Things”.
Even though the Telltale series are well received, it’s a game type that I’ve never really taken to. I can’t place my finger on it, I’ve tried to embrace them based on the IP alone which are all things I love and the stories I’m told are very strong, but I can’t get past the gameplay style that for me is just not fun to play. Each to their own I guess, there’ll be plenty of people excited to see them take on the Stranger Things series.
