Microsoft Impresses at E3 2018

Microsoft has impressed with it’s Xbox presentation at E3 2018. Most of the third party title’s we have seen or will see more of in other presentation but they did give us hope for the future with some exclusives that we been waiting for.

Phil Spencer also spoke about the company’s future, revealing that the team behind Xbox One X is developing the next generation xbox which may only be a couple of years away. Also they are working on a game-streaming service (basically Netflix for games) that will have ‘console quality gaming on any device’ this could be industry wide and as we’ve seen with the growth of “Game Pass” could be the way of gaming in the future.

Microsoft announced it is doubling its game development studios by adding five new creative teams to the Microsoft Studios family. New investments include the formation of a brand-new studio, The Initiative, the acquisition of Playground Games, and letters of intent to acquire Ninja Theory, Undead Labs and Compulsion Games.

One of the most impressive titles on display was Cyberpunk 2077 and we are hoping to get more details on this throughout the conference.

“Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice,” looks great as well, set in late 1500s Japan and from the creators of “Dark Souls” FromSoftware due out in 2019.

and of course GEARS OF WAR 5

We’ll also see a “Devil May Cry 5” in early 2019

There was new gameplay from “Dying Light 2”

and “The Division 2” and Crackdown 3 the latter featuring the voice of Terry Crews from Brooklyn 99.

plus a stack of other titles like the announcement of a new “Battletoads” game.
