LEGO & Universal have revealed two new LEGO® Gabby’s Dollhouse sets, inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s first-ever feature film, Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie. The highly anticipated movie is set to hit cinemas worldwide on September 26, 2025.
These new sets drop in August, a bit before the film (September) and are designed for kids aged 4 and up.

The LEGO Group first launched Gabby’s Dollhouse sets in May 2023, and they were an instant hit with my girls, who love that cupcake cat thing. It confuses me though, “Do you eat the cupcake or is it made of cat”?

Since its debut in 2021, DreamWorks Animation’s Gabby’s Dollhouse has enchanted preschoolers and families alike with its engaging, growth-focused storytelling. My daughters are absolutely hooked, and it’s one of the rare shows I genuinely don’t mind them watching, its fun, its harmless and it has the cake cat thing I mentioned before. They are even reading the early readers based on the series so I’m learning more about the show every night as well.
Basically the series follows Gabby, a young girl who unboxes surprises that transport her into an animated world filled with lovable cat characters. Each episode promotes creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Sound familliar? those values come up a lot with my discussions with the LEGO Group and their mission of learning through play.
