Lawn Mowing Simulator – What’s More Fun Than Watching Grass Grow?

Five Star Games has prepared a special, one-of-a-kind marathon livestream event to celebrate the physical launch of Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition to the Australian market.

Beginning at 9.00am AEST on Monday 1st August and running until Friday 5th August, lawn care fans can tune into to enjoy a week-long stream of… grass growing.

Some streams are like watching grass grow

The turf (and the excitement) is as real as it gets, complete with miniature props and care given to the lawn at special times throughout the week, including watering and “mowing”.

Giveaways of the game and other prizes will also be doled out to watchers enjoying the action.

Five Star Games managing director Darren Macbeth says of the occasion: “In a world of constant notifications and fractured attention spans, watching grass grow may not be one of the most exhilarating undertakings in human history. But with human beings bouncing from pillar to post from dusk until dawn and beyond, the slow pace of Lawn Mowing Simulator and this special Livestream should come as a welcome change for all who choose to partake.

If you’re a human being and finding yourself a little stressed out, tune into our grass-growing Livestream or pick up a copy of Lawn Mowing Simulator and let the good times grow.

Lawn Mowing Simulator allows you to enjoy the challenge and serenity of mowing the Great British countryside in a variety of modes while ensuring the cash flow of your lawn care empire remains as green as the blades you’re cutting. Until recently Lawn Mowing Simulator has only been available on Steam on PC and Microsoft Xbox Series S|X and Game Pass, but the Landmark Edition coming to PlayStation means the game can now be enjoyed by even more gamers and gardeners around Australia.

With a focus on a realistic simulation of all things lawn care, Lawn Mowing Simulator developer Skyhook Games has perfectly recreated real-life elements such as the speed and control of cutting decks on mowers from licensed partners, including Toro, STIGA and SCAG Power Equipment. Players can improve their mowing skills and equipment with attachments from stripe rollers, mulching kits, grass collectors, recyclers, flail decks and more.

The aim of Lawn Mowing Simulator is to build your own lawncare business from the ground up, ensuring the money earned on jobs is used effectively. Hire new staff, buy new machines, purchase advertising and balance the books as you grow and expand your business.

Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition includes both DLC expansions currently available for the game: Ancient Britain and Dino Safari, meaning now players can mow the lawns of such vaunted locales as Stonehenge and everyone’s favourite prehistoric dinosaur attraction. It’s available from major game retailers around Australia,
