GoldenEye 007 is Available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox Game Pass

Retro Spy Spin-off Goldeneye 007 is available on your Nintendo Switch and Xbox via Game Pass!

The classic GoldenEye 007 has just joined the Nintendo 64 library on Nintendo Switch and is now available to all members with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

Additionally, the game is appearing on Xbox Game Pass so will be available to play on your console and via the cloud.

You’ll likely remember the game that was a mega hit on the Nintendo 64.

You play as James Bond, on a covert operation to stop the GoldenEye weapon satellite, taking you on a globe-trotting adventure through underground bases, military trains, and jungle hideouts. With M briefing you on your objectives and Q Branch equipping you with gadgets, it’s up to you to save the day! And when you’re done, challenge your friends and become the ultimate spy in the four-player multiplayer mode.

If you go down the Switch path with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, you’ll have access to even more classic Nintendo 64 titles and other features, like Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass Wave 3, featuring 8 new courses, including Merry Mountain and Peach Gardens. Plus, enjoy even more Nintendo 64 games like Mario Party, Mario Party 2, 1080 Snowboarding, Excitebike 64, and Pokémon Stadium 2.

Not only that, but you’ll also have access to Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, and Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion DLC*** at no extra cost. And with a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you’ll be able to play online with friends and family around the world, access to over 100 classic NES and Super NES games, and more.

I know the majority of the world is excited about this, but even as a massive fan of the films), I’m not.

It’s not that I dislike the game, I just never considered it to be as amazing as everyone else. Perhaps it’s because when it came out I was very much a PC gamer and playing multiplayer with games I thought were infinitely better.

However I recall working in the store when it came out and Nintendo 64’s were in high demand, the game was one of those titles that was hard to keep in stock and shifted more console units than anything else, even Mario 64 and Mario Kart.

GoldenEye 007 is available now in the Nintendo 64 library on Nintendo Switch and on Xbox Game Pass.
