Doccy Darko First Impressions
My first impression of the gameplay is that it’s as if “Fallout” and “No Man’s Sky” had a baby. There seem to be a lot of similarities to the Hello Games title that started off poorly and reinvented itself into a masterpiece.
The graphics are more “Bethesda” like and certainly feel more “real world” but it will be the combat that really sets the two games apart. While there is combat in “No Man’s Sky” it’s not the focus and it’s limited with weapon types and enemies. “Starfield” certainly steps combat up to those standards held by the company and it is impressive and brutal in this gorgeous space setting.
the big news is that the game will be a console launch exclusive on Xbox Series X|S, coming to Windows PCs. Also, it’s available on day one on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and via Xbox Cloud Gaming, adding so much more value to the Xbox subscription service.
We’ll see Starfield sometime in 2023.
