Naughty Dog, the makers of critically acclaimed series The Last of Us and Uncharted have announced their new space-set adventure called: Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
Intergalactic introduces a new protagonist, Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria – a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago.
In fact, anyone who’s flown to it hoping to unravel its mysterious past was never heard from again. Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.
In the trailer we see an appearance from Kumail Nanjiani on a 3D monitor, it seem you may be setting out to track his character down. Jordan will be played byTati Gabrielle who I recognised straight away from episodes of the popular Netflix show “YOU” and the barely watchable film version of “Uncharted” as well as various other projects.
A special mention to the soundtrack though, it was announced that Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and Atticus Ross would be providing the sounds of Intergalactic, but in the trailer we hear one of the great Pet Shop Boy’s classics “It’s a Sin” which by coicidence is one of my favourite film clips of all time and featured on the album “Actually” which can be seen in the trailer as she selects the CD. It was an album that also featured the songs “Heart”, “Alway’s on My Mind”, “Rent” and “What Have I Done to Deserve This”.
