Nintendo has officially confirmed that a brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 console bundle is headed to local shores, featuring the highly rated Pokémon Pokopia.
Set for release on 5 June, this bundle represents Nintendo’s latest effort to maintain the hardware sales momentum that this title has surprisingly generated. While the gaming giant has been relatively quiet on specific pricing, industry expectations are already forming.

The Price of Adventure
Although an official RRP has yet to be etched in stone, it is widely presumed the Pokémon Pokopia bundle will land at $769. This would align it with the existing Mario Kart World and Pokémon Legends: Z-A bundles. If this holds true, it offers a distinct advantage for those yet to make the jump as these bundles effectively provide a respectable saving over buying the console and a flagship title separately.
Regional Exclusivity?
Most surprisinly, this announcement appears strictly focused on Australia and New Zealand. Nintendo specified availability through its official website and select local retailers. Curiously, there has been no mention of a North American or European release for this specific configuration.
If you’ve been holding off on grabbing a Switch 2 this is the perfect point to jump in. Pokopia exceeded all expectations and the hardware is proving to be one of the best handheld options on the market with plenty of AAA titles having successful ports including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle which drops this month.
