I was looking for a new game to play on the Switch the other night and came across one that had been recommended to me but I hadn’t played until now. From the creators of “TOWER FALL”, ‘Celeste’ is a 2D platforming game that really honors the genre.
The complex levels are fantastically puzzling and leave you with extreme satisfaction when you finally complete them.
The game boasts lots of secrets and collectibles that are hidden throughout each level and they are more than enough to keep you coming back for more even when you have finished the overall story.
The movement through jumps and dashes is some of the best I’ve seen since Super Meat Boy and even Cuphead which proves that the genre is enjoying a return to form on nearly all devices.
