Apple has unveiled the iPhone Air, its thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, combining powerful performance, sleek design, and advanced features. Measuring just 5.6mm thin, the iPhone Air looks like the regular iPhone on Ozempic, but does that mean it’s also going to be susseptable to damage through accidental drops or bends?

According to Apple, the iPhone Air’s titanium frame makes it both lightweight and incredibly durable. Its protected by Ceramic Shield 2, offering triple the scratch resistance and four times the crack protection of previous iPhones. Despite its ultra-thin profile, Apple has re-engineered the internal layout to fit a larger battery.
The 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology ensures great visuals with vibrant colours and a smoother user experience. Adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz make scrolling effortless, and with a peak outdoor brightness of 3,000 nits, the screen performs well in bright sunlight. A new Action button offers quick access to essential tools like the camera or visual intelligence features.

The iPhone Air’s 48MP Fusion main camera system is designed for professional-grade photography. These are good lens, but not the top of the line that you’ll be getting in the iPhone 17 Pro models.
