Have you ever looked at your gaming setup and thought it could use a little more colour? 8BitDo has you covered. The hardware brand has just released its new 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox and PC, and it arrives in a gorgeous “Lavender Dusk” edition that is officially shipping across Europe today.
We put our gaming controllers through a lot. That is why the technology inside the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 is such a big deal. It features advanced TMR joysticks designed to be completely drift-free—meaning no more characters walking off cliffs while you are grabbing a snack. You can even twist a physical ring on the sticks to make them looser for fast-paced games or tighter for precise aiming.
Beyond the fresh paint job, this controller comes with a clever magnetic charging dock. When you finish playing, you just drop the controller into the cradle. It powers down and charges automatically, then wakes right back up the second you lift it.
For players who want an edge, 8BitDo has added extra bumper buttons and rear paddles, plus magnetic triggers that allow for instant firing in your favourite shooters. You also get full software customisation to change exactly what each button does.
The Lavender Dusk 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Controller is available right now for €89.99 / £79.99 / $99.99. If your current controller is held together by tape and hope, this might just be the upgrade your desk needs.
